The photos below are a series of shots which show how a simple carve and polymer clay technique is done. I use real eggshells and they are carved by hand with a high speed drill. There is no laser cutting in any of the carving I do. I primarily use chicken, duck, or goose egg shells. Occasionally I will carve a larger egg like ostrich or emu.
Clay flowers and other ornamentation is typically formed by hand as shown below. I also use a clay extruder to produce long shapes and a pasta machine to produce flat sheets of polymer clay.
