In 2009, I was commissioned by the American Egg Board to create the Colorado state egg for the annual White House Egg Display. The White House Egg Display resided in the White House Visitor Center for four weeks and then became a permanent part the presidential library.
I was also commissioned to create the 33rd White House Commemorative Egg to the First Lady in 2010. The commemorative egg is presented each year at the anuual Easter Egg Roll to the First Lady of the United States.
The egg is presented to First Lady Michelle Obama by the president of the American Egg Board.
